ATPLs?

I'm sorry if this is a naive question - but I was wondering once you have passed all 14 of the ATPLs do you have them for life? Or is there then a timeframe within which you must take your CPL/IR skills?

I think its CPL Flight test within 6 months and IR within 36 months.

CB,

Check the latest regs on this matter here :
http://www.srg.caa.co.uk/documents/s...licyUpdate.pdf

The acceptance period is 36 months from the date of gaining a pass in all papers, meaning U need to pass both checkrides (CPL & IR) within this period.

In a nutshell this is my understanding of things. You have 18 months from your first initial exam attempt to complete and pass all
14 exams, and 3 years to do the flying requirements.
If you dont pass all the exams within this timeframe youve to do them all again. Moneygrabbing or what ?

As far as I know this is accurate but im sure theres someone out there who knows exactly the requirements.
