Is CX2 allowed for ATPL exams?

Hello everyone,
I tried Googling the question but came with different answers. I'm planning on taking my ATPL exams in Romania and wanted to ask if CX2 is allowed in the exams? Google AI says no, all the other answers say yes.

No, EASA exams are nearly identical to UKCAA and this is what you can take into the UKCAA exams.

-------------------

1x One clear plastic pen (bic biro or similar) and one eraser tipped pencil.

1x Approved calculator: Casio FX 82/83/85/300 series Sharp EL-W531/531 series Citizen SR-
260 series Texas Instruments TI-30X/XB/XS

1x Clear Plastic Ruler

Compass and Dividers (without case)

1x CRP-1/CRP-5/CR-3/CR-6 or ARC-2 or TPS-2 or E6B (excluding those with single side wind
slides where aeronautical information is printed on the reverse).

1x Fine tip marker for Flight Computer

Pencil Sharpener

Protractor/Plotter

--------------------

+ Jeppesen manual for Flight Planning

As I suspected. F dinos refusing to go extinct.

The calculator may not be programmable.

Things like the CX2 are not allowed because it doesn't tell you how it got the answer. You are responsible for the aids in your aircraft and you need to know the underlying theory, hence the mechanical computer.

Thanks everyone for your answer! Just one question - I can bring the E6B to any ATPL exam, right?

yes, but I don't believe that does compressibility. The e6B circular is much easier to use, based on the Jeppesen CR-3

I know it doesn't, but this part is so weird (should be applied only to TAS greater than 300 knots yet AE says to apply it anyway if it's given regardless of the speed).

I asked because I found it relatively useful even in W&B where conversions of units is needed (and the E6B has all kinds - liters to US/imperial gallons and vice versa).
And just to be clear I'm referring to ASA E6B (I have the paper version)
