Ryanair Future Flyer Academy - New Partnership
Hello everyone!
I applied for the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy programme at FTEJerez, and after passing the first stage of the assessments, I was informed that their partnership had come to an end. :( On Ryanair's website, the FTEJerez logo has been replaced with a "Ryanair New Partnership Announcement - Coming Soon" message. Does anyone know which flight school will replace FTEJerez, or at least which country this new partnership will be in? Thanks in advance! |
I am not suprised. I don't see the point of going to Jerez to get into Ryanair when you can get the same benefit with much cheaper ATOs. If the job is "guaranteed", why pay €130k at FTE exc. Type Rating when you can do it at AFTA for €100k or at Bartolini for €80k including Type Rating? The prestige of FTE helps to get that fabled first job - at least that's the theory. If the job is already guaranteed, I don't see the point?

It would definitely be cheaper to do the training at Bartolini, for example, but in my opinion, the difference isn’t that significant when you take into account that:
- At FTEJerez, you could complete the training faster, which could extend the duration of your career as a pilot; - The cost of training at FTEJerez includes accommodation and meals; - Their campus offers great free amenities, such as a gym, swimming pool, football and tennis courts, etc. |

Big caveat that amenities aren’t free if you’re paying an extra 30K to attend a course there..!
