They've always had a good number of cadets from various companies.
They have the capacity to manage the amount of students they have; the instructors are going to take care of you as much as the sponsored cadets, don't worry. Thats good to hear On that note - I have an interview coming up with them. Does anyone have any info regarding what questions they ask? Anything technical or is it purely a competency based interview? Thanks |

Oh my lord just read the entire thread and you can really see why there’s a stereotype on pilot toxicity but anyway if you’re going to go intergrated as far as I can see it’s the best option in Europe and don’t they offer a modular option (could be wrong) and what’s the rough roi of attending you would pay ~100k ish and what’s the average salary after completing it providing your self funded and not part of a cadet program?

FTE CRI/IRI FI salary and conditions.
Hello, im wondering should i apply for FTEJEREZ for CRI/IRI Flight instructor.
Couple of quesions: -good place to work? -salary? based on what(hours, mothly etc) -do i need to fly single engine as well? -do i teach simulator as well, or there is simulator FI for that? -where we fly at fte? around Jerez or somewhere more further? -good things? -bad things? -benefits that not on website -working environment? Thank you in advance. Looking for good place to work. |
Not worth it!
they bond you for the standardization training that they provide (for few thousand Euros), plus they start you as a VFR instructor (with VFR Salary) and upgrade you (whenever) to IR first and then CRI. They don’t mention any of these in their interviews 😆 |
Is FTE Jerez the Right Choice for Pilot Training? How Hard Is It to Get In?
Hi everyone,
I'm considering starting my pilot training and have been researching various flight schools in Europe. One that stands out is FTE Jerez in Spain, but I’m trying to determine if it’s the right choice for me and if I have what it takes to get in. A few things I’m wondering about:
Thanks in advance for your help! 😊 |

Does anyone know how long it takes to get invited for assessments with FTE? They told me my application was being reviewed 2 weeks ago but it’s been radio silence since then…

Thanks for the guide. Really helpful!

FTE Jerez FD+ course
Is the FD+course still taking people in for 2025 courses?

FTE Jerez
I am applying to FTE at the moment and was wondering if anyone had any infomation on what to expect for the selection process.
I have had the pre read document but was wondering if the Anon and maths/physics are done on the same day and if that is all they do or do they also do an interview at the same time. Any info would be greatly appreciated. |
FTE Jerez Assessment
Hi Everyone!
I'm doing in few weeks (for the first time) the assesment for Integrated training (no sponsor) at the FTE Jerez school. I'm a little bit worried for the exams, I'm doing very good on the test on PASS for maths, but for physics I'm very bad.. I'm looking for any feedback from someone who already did it (passing it or not) to share their experience about it. I would like to thank everyone in advance, any info is much appreciated! |

Hello! I'm currently applying for AFOP program of FTE as a self sponsored student. Have you done all the tests? I'm also not very sure about the assessments cuz I just did all the tests on the Pilotassessment website... Any kind suggestions are more than welcome and thank you so much!
The maths and physics and verbal reasoning are not impossible but you have to take it slow and be sure to check and you dont get alot of time to process the details. The documents from FTE indicate that the content is GCSE level but practice upto UK AS level as there are a few topics that are above GCSE level. It was a few months ago when I did them but unfortuntly I cant remember specifics. You need to pass all exams to progress but if you fail either the morning or the afternoon you just need to do that section only. |

Thanks in advance for your help! 😊 1. It is definitely well known for being a flight school that is expensive and that delivers very well prepared pilots. It is not just theory, they definitely build you into a 'high quality' pilot. And from my experience there can be people that do not have success after FTE (with success i am refering to getting a job and maintaining it), but I can assure you these were only those who put in very little effort. You can have all the help and resources in the world to make you great but it is you who has to put in the work. 2. The FTE name is definitely a plus, they have a lot of agreements with different flight schools which you cannot get sponsored by or get a cadet job with unless it is through FTE. Even after COVID the school managed to provide some exclusive assessments for cadets, this is one of the reasons why I chose it and even through the crisis it provided, so in that aspect it is a big YES. 3. From what I remember it was tough specially the physics questions and everything took place on the same day. Also during the group interview make sure you demonstrate confidence and attentive listening to your team mates as well. I saw there is already a lot of information here about the phases so I will leave it at that. 4. As mentioned, while I was there COVID hit so my situation is not the most usual, as like me, most people ended up being self-sponsored, so we were all supported in same amounts. There were still some sponsored cadets and that I remember, they didn't have extra support from the school, but they did have regular contact with their airline if their results were low, so extra pressure I would say. In terms of carreer support, the self-sponsored ones were definitely helped more post-school since they did not have an airline contract as you can imagine, but it is a general service so even if you didn't lose your sponsorship you would still be entitled to the help. Overall for me the costs were definitely worth it but this is subjective and there are plently of other cheaper schools were you can just as well get your license and become a great pilot, it all comes down to you. Something else to consider may be the environment of the flight school and the people. In my opinion 10/10, there are probably a couple other schools were students are also brought together on the regular but at FTE it is part of its culture and you will always have someone to talk to about academics for support or anything at all, and as for the teachers there may be some disliked ones but all of them will help you out if asked. I find this important as you are meant to live there during your whole stay so the vibes are important. I hope you find what you are looking for my friend. |
Did you go ahead with EZY MPL? How have you found it? I see a lot of people on this forum warning against being dropped but other than Covid, are any cadets dropped through their MPL training?
