Ryanair Future Flyer

"Are you interested in joining Ryanair as a Cadet in the near future? Entry into Ryanair will be exclusively through completion of one of the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy training programmes with an official Ryanair partner school. We have carefully selected our pilot training partners due to their high standards in training. Only our official partners are listed and endorsed by the Ryanair Training Department. There are 3 training routes available with our partners depending on the candidate experience level and individual needs. All programmes are developed and delivered in accordance with our SOPs. Regular auditing of trainee performance and course quality is monitored by our world-class training department. The whitetail route will no longer be available."

What do you think of this?

They have been saying this for a while that they were going to move to only hiring through their partner schools. Many other airlines already do this so should not come as a surprise

EasyJet have been doing the same for years too, but look what happened last month - started hiring modular pilots from any ATO.

They'll probably hire small numbers from other ATOs and they'll continue preferring their own cadets

But to what extent should a cadet consider a programme like this? Eventhough it is a very good programme, in the end you are closing yourself to a single airline once you finish the programme.
