PPL Theory Study

Can anyone reccomend any resources for studying for your PPL exams?

I have the Pooley's books (atleast for Airlaw and Airlaw/Meterology), and I also used to do the online quizes but I can't remember which site I did them on.

I was studying for airlaw in early 2023, but paused to pursue integrated and review my options. I never sat the exam, so essentially restarting now.

Thanks!

easyPPL Ground School Videos

Hi there,

I’m beginning to study for my CAA PPL theory, and from reading through this forum, along with a recommendation from my instructor, EasyPPL Ground School seems to be the best option. Does anyone have any experience with the flight training video lessons included in their gold package? They work out at £200 extra but I can't work out if they're worth it or not. There's 22 videos but some seem some quite specific (e.g. one on starting the engine). My initial thought is no, they're not worth it for a set of videos but at the same time if I can pick up something that requires one less lesson to get the hang of, then it'll be worth it.

Thanks!

I just bought the normal silver version. I averaged 93% across all exams with 5 being 100% passes so it must be okay.

They way i did it was read through each Pooleys book once. Then hit the question banks till getting 95%+ on exams. Going back to books for anything you do not understand. I think I did around 300 hours all in. Which sounds like a lot but I spent that time alone on my first module of ATPL exams :).

Thanks! Did you think the Pooley's books were slightly overkill in addition the Easy PPL ground school?
