The preamble to the checking test stated that we may not hear from BA until the 24th of Feb after completion

Same here I completed my checking test on 18th. I managed to do all questions in it, but only did around 21/25 questions in Maths, which is the most worrying part for me. Although I am quite confident that (most of) my answers were correct.

It’s strange there’s no one on here or Reddit who’s actually received a rejection yet… maybe they’re sending them all out on the 24th?

OLIVER_RUFF 21st February 2025 13:58

Just done my maths test. Only managed to do 18 out of 25. That timer is a killer. That's probably me out then isn't it? I'm semi confident that they are all right though

I am in the same boat, finished the checking test on the 14th, that’s a week now so assuming that yes the 24th must be a mass rejection day unfortunately!

When you got the invite to the PA assessment, how long do you have to complete it?

It's 2 calendar days from the day you received the invite. So the same rule as for the previous assessments.

If you read a page back, rejection emails have already been sent out. I doubt people would want to come forward and announce that to everyone. Why fear monger? We're not the recruitment team, so we don't actually know anything so don't assume such things.

Hey all, does anyone know if BA have removed the 3 attempts limit to the academy? I remember seeing this last year but see no mention of it this year.

I hope you're right! 🤞
Good luck everyone 💪

will they be sending out emails over the weekend to invite to the passenger announcement or will it most likely be on the 24th?

Ankins 21st February 2025 17:48

Hey! are there any group chats I could join on instagram etc?

Pilot2025 21st February 2025 18:14

If we pass the PA, does anyone know what the next stage looks like? Last year the skybourne applicants had some online tests before their assessment day, and fte did the group interviews and further tests in person first. They've said both flight schools will run the same this year, but I can't remember if they said 1-1 online interviews next, online aptitude or in person group interviews

gl5xkfjw1 21st February 2025 18:28

Both schools are going to use AON CUT-E online tests this year. According to this YouTube Interview [YouTube]/watch?v=0_hqI8J916w

online AON aptitude tests > assessment day at Waterside (Group ex, eagle capacity test etc) > online interview > Stage 3

Hi Guys,

Call me a bit late to the party, but completed my SJT, think it went alright...
Anybody know the timeframe of when i'll find out when (and if i can) do the maths exam?

Cheers

JurassicPilot 21st February 2025 18:58

Pilot2025 I know it's a few pages back but scrolling up would reveal easy_99 extremely helpful posts here and here. Alternatively, you can re-watch all of the webinars here.

mesh and others who are asking about practice for Stage 2...

For the AON/Cut-e tests I would recommend Pilotest.com.The benefit is this is free (just need to create an account) and gives you the opportunity to get your eye in. If you feel you need further practice with a slightly different variety of the same tests then a paid for service might be appropriate to finesse your skills. I used airlineassessmentprep.com [19.90euros for a month] but I'm sure there are dozens of others which are very similar.
Last year for Skyborne relevant tests were (no idea if it's the same/different this year though!):· Reaction Rate
· Navigation - Sense of direction
· Moving dots
· Runway multi-tasks
· Tube flight
· Personality test

For the handling tests I'd recommend playing flightsim (if you don't already?!) The test is explained quite thoroughly in the webinars but is basically following pitch, roll and speed on a PFD. If you're on PC then cheap-ish joystick [£47.99] and 14-days of Gamepass for £1 should get you setup with Microsoft Flightsim (if your computer can run it).

For the EAGLE capacity test I'd recommend the "Flight Crew Test" at LatestPilotJobs.com. [$39.95 for a month] Don't over-practice because the BA version is slightly different in exact mechanics but it at least gets your familiar with the style.

Hiya!! I completed SJT at 1237 and had an invite to Maths at 1017 the next day. Similiarly, I completed Maths at 1650 and had an invite to Detail Checking at 1103 the next day.

Hope that helps!
