Views on Aviation South West?

Hi all,

After reading the thread regarding Tayside going under and the subsequent conversations about other training outfits I was wondering if anyone had any views or hopefully even some current or ex student experiences they could share on Aviation South West down in Exeter?

I'm thinking I’ll probably do some training there later this year and will be a modular student so won’t be paying large chunks of cash upfront, but it would be nice to find out more about their reputation and stability as once an outfit has been selected it’d be nice to have confidence that the process isn’t going to be a painful one with loads of hiccups, especially as it costs so much money!

Thanks in advance.

Definitely one of the best schools in the UK.

Hi hoping someone can share some more recent experiences with ASW. They are offering a zero to fATPL course in 12 months apparently.

Very expensive now £30k for a dual MEIR alone on a BE76

I'm also interested if anyone has any recent experience with Aviation South West? They don't seem to have the same links with major airlines as the large ATOs, so I'm interested if anyone has recently qualified with them and now flying with an airline?

Thanks
Rch

There is no good reason for anyone to do an MEIR as their initial IR, especially at those rates. CBIR all the way.
