Wouldn't have thought you'd have any trouble operating inthe U.K. on an Irish JAA licence.
As far as the schools go there was a thread recently on this in the instructors forum. Might be worth trying there. |
Hi,
Old Sarum Flying club in Salisbury is a very good place to do the FIC, I havent done one there I just work there but I know there is a waiting list for the course and have heard very positive feed back from people on the course. Give them a ring and see what you think, Happy Landings  |
There is alot of good FIC Instructor's about. But I can recommend an ex collegue of mine who should now be up and running at Allouette Flying school Biggin Hill. If not another EXColl of mine at Tayside Dundee.
Hope it helps:D |
There was a thread on the Instructors fourm about the pre-entry test, but I can't find it now. From what I can remember the test profile is that of a proficiency check. So it is to check that you can fly the PPL syllabus manouvers to PPL standards. It's flown from the left hand seat.
