NDB Question

Hi guys,
I would really appreciate some assistance on this question, :ugh: :

Q : The reading of the RMI bearing is 300 degrees at the tip of the needle. The magnetic variation at the DR position is 24 deg W, the magnetic variation at the NDB is 22 deg W and the deviation is -2 deg. The Compass heading is 020 deg. The true bearing is :

(a) 094
(b) 294
(c) 274
(d) 272

The correct answer is (c) and I got 276 deg which obviously doesnt feature above. Would really appreciate a working explanation. Thanks
Cheers!

It's been a while:

To get an answer of 274…

300 Indicated (compass) bearing, less
002 compass deviation, gives
298 corrected magnetic bearing, less
024 magnetic variation at aircraft
274 true bearing to station.

Thank you so much for the solution. I was taking the compass heading (020 deg) rather than the compass bearing of 300 deg.
Really appreciate your help! :D

Wait until you get onto compass swinging. 🤪
