Flight hours certificate for CPL?
 

Hi Good morning.
Im a PPL, got my license in spain.
i recently did my 2 year renovation, and ask the examiner about getting a CPL
i flew 200 hours in this 2 year period so i should be good in the flight experience side of things.
He mention i need a "flight hours certificate" for those flown hours to be able to use them as experience for my CPL.
This comes as a surprise as i thought only with my logbook it was enought
what is this certificate? im looking on google and cant find it.
Ive sent emails to the flight schools where i flew this hours, in Germany, and UK but i think is going to be problematic to the that certificate.
is this a Spain thing? or an EASA?
If so could you please provide more info/documentation on how this works?

Looks to me it would be something similar to this or one of these. Granted the first link is to an ATPL confirmation form, but I've given you enough in those two links to at least work with.

What the examiner means is that you can't just log 200 hours and attempt the flight test. You have to prove that you actually meet all the pre-requisites, such as the VFR cross-country flight or the variable pitch prop and retractable landing gear requirements (assuming you're in the UK as you say you're London based). That's what the form(s) will do. The best thing you could do is go into your local flight school and ask the question to them. They'll be better able to validate your experience against the regulations than an anonymous person on the internet.

I've never heard of a 'flight hours certificate' - that's what a logbook is for.

Yes thanks for the answer, i will call the flight school, and enquire,. but as my
license is from spain, not sure how this works.
ive also flown in germany , so i assume it will be similar.
