Desperate Wannabes read this before you make this mistake!

Yesterday i was shown an application from a pilot "trying" to throw a desperate chance away!

The letter was so saddening and filled with complaints, it looked like the guy was on the edge of a nervous brakedown. http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif

You won't make the short list and probably get blacklisted as mentaly unfit. I myself have struggled to get where i am now(cpt. F50) and know what it looks like  when your out of options! keep faith and find a way to keep flying. start a job "on the side" thats atleast fun.
companys want positive attitude even if your against all odds!!!

I write this becaus i see that this particular pilot has destroyed his aviation future for a long time (he must have send the letter to more than one company)and mostlikely for ever!

good luck to you all

What did he say that was so 'desperate'? Obviously you can't be too specific, but I'd hate to think I was falling into any traps - though I don't think so. I always try to sound positive when writing covering letters, though it's becoming increasingly difficult.

Yup I'd also be interested in hearing what the 'complaints' were...

Who in their right mind would complain when applying for a job??
