Book for IFR
 

Hi guys
I completed the atpl exams in November and I am planning attend the cpl-ir course soon.
Do you have any recommendations on a guide/book about Instrument flying?
Any help would be appreciated.

and the Swiss Aviation Training IFR book is also good

After completing the ATPL exams/material, you really don't need to do more reading. IFR is all about developing routines and understanding what is on the approach/depature plate, as well the enroute chart. Also, be able to react to ATC in a timely manner helps, which means working well with the a/c GNS. Other than that, it is the most rewarding and satisfying flying you can do ie. NDB approaches in IMC actually finding the airfield!

The FAA has produced some excellent books on practical instrument flying (and many other subjects). Take a look at the library.

I hope you're right about the required knowledge for the instrument rating.
To be honest, I did my first exam in May 2016, the last one in November 2017 and I think I've already forgotten everything.
I was happy about my average score but I have this feeling like "I know nothing".
