ATPL upgrade - in person?
 

Need to get an ATPL upgrade sorted in a hurry. Company is saying that it requires a visit in person to the CAA at Gatwick to drop off documents.

Is this the case? Is it now a same-day service, or do they sit on it for a few weeks and then post the stuff back?

Unfortunately, licence issuance are not covered by the counter service so your into the 10 working day minimum. In practise your looking at 3-4 weeks currently.
