Bournemouth Flying Club

Now I know about the reservations that people had with training for commercial licences with an FTO with "club" in thier title and thier subsequent CV, but it doesn't worry me. My present "Club" has 2 737 caps', an about to be 737 cap', a 747 cap' and a 777 training cap!!!!!
What I would like to know/ hear about is their current/past student comments, as regards CPL/IR training.
Many thanks in advance for any replies, my E-mail is always open for anonymity. Cheers
Schuler. T.

I think BFC has now changed its name, and has some really good instructors. When are you thinking of coming down - we should meet up for some beers maybe???

Well the club itself has not changed its name, Greaser, but you are correct in that we now use the name Bournemouth Commercial Flight Training Centre (a bit of a mouthful, abreviated to BCFT) for our CPL and IR training and ATPL groundschool. We are still a club for the private flying though, not wanting to put off our existing members, with a club atmosphere (and a club bar :D ), but the new name came about when we started the groundschool (which is when I joined the staff).

(And Greaser, always on for a pint :) )
