Sagey,

Initial training is at Cranfield for 6 months - ATPL Theory, CPL, FI(R) and then off to a Cabair school for 2 years with IRI upgrade, MEP along the way.

Only then do I get the KLMuk job.

Ennie,

Thanks - Are you a DEP or did you go the Cabair route as well?

Regards,

STurns

PS A little dickybird tells me the F50's might not be around for much longer?

Ennie 8th June 2001 00:46

I went to Cabair as a self sponsored student and was DEP, interview & sim checked in April. I have heard about the F50 yes, do you know if the F100 is going aswell, if not what the hell am I gonna be on!!!!.

Ennie,

I believe the fleet will be consolidated to Ford Mondeos. Apparently the mileage and cost per seat kilometre is very good.

The cargo version (nee. estate) also has an excellent baggage capacity.

Anyone know how long the type rating takes??
