I can't say my mind is still focused on getting my ATPL. I've had a lot of time to think of friends on HMS Illustrious speeding their way out to the gulf.

It may be time to dust down the uniform again.

Of sourse we all really feel for the victims of last tuesdays attacks, in fact I had friends who where involved like so many other people did. Its just that when the one thing that you want to do in the world gets a huge kick in the teeth, I feel every right to be worried.

Given that this corner of PPRuNe, which is a small corner of the internet, is dedicated specifically to the interests of Wannabe airline pilots then I think quite rightly the focus of discussions should be on airline hiring in the near future.
