Currently I am a 18 year old student, with a PPL and Night rating, I am intrested in finding ways to continue with my flight training without having to spend too much more money! I have applied to both the RN and RAF, but i'm having problems with my height to fit in the jets because i'm 6' 3". Does anyone know of any compainies that would continue my training? Also I am not fussy about flying Jets, I would love to go to some country like Africa or Asia and fly light aircraft for them. Does anyone know any website for jobs overseas with smaller aircraft.

What are your aspirations? Do you want to build hours or aim for an ATPL? Glider instructing and towing come to mind if you are just looking for something to fly, but perhaps you could be more specific?

I'd like to fly smaller aircraft like twin prop aircraft.

There are very few organisations of any kind that will train unqualified people to fly their equipment. As you can imagine, there are many thousand of pilots worldwide with excellent qualifications (hours and type ratings) who are currently unemployed, so it's unlikely you'll find anyone to pay for your training.

I would suggest that you are going to have to get some kind of ICAO CPL, and some twin time, before you stand a realistic chance of getting your chosen job. This will cost you money! It is possible, however, that you may be able to get a licence, local to your potential country of employment, considerably cheaper than a JAA or FAA licence. Don't expect to be able to export your qualification elsewhere, though, until you have many thousands of hours.

For maximum employment potential, you should have a JAA or FAA ATPL. As you will know by reading this forum, these are going to cost you serious money. I'm sorry, there's no way round that just now. Ironically, it may be easier to get a jet airline job than what you want at the moment!
