Flying schools in San Francisco?

Hi guys,
Does anyone know of any flying schools in or around San Francisco. I'm going over there in 2 weeks on holidays and would like to take a few lessons while I'm there. Can anyone recommend anywhere?
Thanks.

Seirra Academy, Oakland airport. Sorry no contact details, but if you speak with Camillus Byrne there he'll help.

I belong to the West Valley Flying Club in Palo Alto that's affiliated to other clubs around the Bay. I live in the UK so only pay membership when I'm over there. There are 100s of aircraft some VERY good instructors, and you can have a ball doing aeros in a Grob over the mts or take a trip down to Monterrey, hire a cab and drive to Carmel for lunch. Recommend it. http://www.wvfc.org
with an Email to David Fry for details. [email protected] :)

I would give Sierra a miss. E-Mail me - I live in Walnut Creek, and fly from Concord.

There are a lot of places near SF, but the best option I suppose, is where you are going to stay and how much time you want/need to spend getting to the airfields.
