Cdn ATPL > JAA. For an experienced pilot
Hello all,
I have heard that if you've got a few thousand hours (in my case 4000), you will be eligible for some exceptions in the license conversion. Can anyone shed some light on this? |
You would be exempt the formal training (a school has to sign you off for 650 hours) but you still have to do the exams. However, you would be very unwise to do the exams without preparation - the problem is not the syllabus but the daft questions.
The few thousand hours is actually a thousand multi-crew, I believe. If you have 500 hours on type you are also exempt a formal type rating course - all you need is an lpc. phil |
