PPRuNe Forums - Recurrent + Initial FAA

I plan to have a FAA Commercial + IR + M.E conversion on the basis of my Foreign ICAO License, as per

Airmen Certification - Verify the Authenticity of a Foreign License, Rating, or Medical Certification

I've submitted my documents for verification. I would have to give an exam for the Commercial & Instrument Rating to obtain the same.

Could you pls assist,

I'm scheduled for CL605 Recurrent training in DFW on 26th July.

I would like to combine the Check ride for the Recurrency + FAA Commercial + IR. ? (Is it possible?)

As for the TSA, I've been advised to seek CATEGORY 3. Pls suggest.

Also pls suggest Flight Schools nearby to training centre DFW.
