When do I start applying?

I am about to complete my IR in the next week or so and am wondering whether I should start applying to airlines eg. Easyjet, Ryanair now or wait until I have my license in my hand and my MCC completed. I have 1500 hours including 600 multi so I think I may have a fair chance with these airlines. I am also deeply considering the ATP (CTC) scheme as well. Any points of view would be greatly appreciated.

Greaser,

Judging by the rash of replies to your request I think it might be fair to say that its not so much a question of "when should I start applying" more why havent you been applying for the last 3 months?

Good luck

The facetious answer to your question is 'yesterday'!!

Get your CV off pretty sharpish. Companies appreciate that you may not hold the appropriate licences yet, but will want to take you on (assuming you make the grade) at their earliest convenience.

Good luck. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">
