Go around VS Going around??

Friends of mine asked me the differences between Go Around and Going Around?

It sounds same for me.

I think there was a similar thread recently.

I would say 'Go around' is the instruction from ATC
'Going around' is a pilot report.

CAP 413 will give you the correct answer

Semantics.

Surely you don't have to look in CAP413. 'Go-around' is an instruction from either ATC or a fellow crew member, whereas 'Going around' is information from the pilots to ATC or fellow crew members. Is the English proficiency test not working?
