Stuck on Polar Stereo Calculations

Hi all,

I am having problems answering the subject on Polar stereo Calculations for example on this particular question "A straight line track is drawn on a polar steregraphic chart from A (79N 112W) to B(79 N 140 E). Determine the initial true track at A the final true track at B and the longitude where the track is east or west.

What I need explaining also is as it is Northern hemisphere is it always going to +/- from 360 and if it is Southern hemisphere will it always be +/- from 180?

All assistance would be much appreciated
Thanks.

Haven't done these in a while, but here's what I get:

initial TT 324°
final TT 216°
track E/W at 166° W

Maybe this drawing will help you:

just draw everything "to scale" i.e. correct angles and they're easy!
