Jaa or faa 737ng type rating
I want to know that jaa or faa ,whoes standard are better for boeing 737ng type rating and which trto would be good in that case.

Well, it's not a question about standards!!! It's a question of which aviation authority issued the pilot license - JAA or FAA! JAA means JAA TRTO and FAA means FAA TRTO.
Anyway, it's pretty much pointless paying for a TR out of one's own pocket, since most operators require some minimum experience/time on type (commonly around 500hr). |
If you're Indian then you shouldn't worry about JAA or FAA, you should go to the India forum and find out which ones are recognized by DGCA. No point spending money otherwise.

I think Lukes reply is a tad racist and making the assumption you've done Indian training being from India and possibly not FAA or JAA which can still be done.
Transonic got it right, it all depends on the CPL/IR. If the licences where issued from JAA then your rating will be JAA, if it was FAA, then your rating should be FAA. |
