BA FB failures, how many times?

Here's a question: What is the most times anyone has applied to BA's cadet scheme and failed the FB? Or even better what is the most times someone has applied & got through to FB and then been successful (on the last attempt obviously)??

Just interested, as I am wondering whether this would count against you in a FB, if you had failed it 3 or 4 times before?

From the slight feed back I got, I think they tell you whether or not it would be worth while applying again for the position. She said to me I came across well and it would definitely be worth while going for it again. I think if you didn't get in after 3 goes take the hint that they don't want you. Two goes shows your keen, more than 3 and you're flogging a dead horse.

Keep at it Jane,

I had a few attempts and managed, but in the mean time get your Class one get in a plane and get some exams under your belt.

Life after BA - if you want to fly for a living there has to be. Make BA the 'Icing on the cake'when it comes through.

How about Atlantic Flight Training, 50% sponsorship and guaranteed airline job. I have the info and friend who's got through if you want it.

Email direct if I can be of any assitance - that goes for anyone.

Cheers

Only three shots allowed at the FB.. and I've met a guy who tried three times but sadly didn't make it.

GOOD LUCK to all in the BA process just now!

Another question that calls for a bit of speculation:

Has anybody ever been discouraged from applying again or had their previous FB performance count against them on a subsequent attempt (i.e. applied again and not got past screening)?

(And are they willing to own up to it? :))

Well I have applied twice before and got to the FB both times. I don't believe that my previous application affected my second one, I just think I f*@$ed it up by myself!!

What would be interesting to know is how much do they look at your previous application. I mean they must do, to check that it has been a year between applying but what else do they check? What about consistency between both applications, previous employment etc??
Anyone know this?
