Privately building hours
 

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to hour build with a private plane for the Australian 150hr CPL? The hour building is not classified as 'training' so I can't see each individual trip being recorded in the student record so what would happen if the student found someone with their own plane who would let them build hours a lot cheaper than the school?

Would they still be in the GST free 150 course or would it mean the student would have to do the 200 hour course because they built hours away from the approved training organisation?
