Best JAA ATPL exam prep
 

Hey there.

I've been using GLEIM for all my written exam test preppring here in the USA, but now that I'm doing the European JAA ATPL soon, I don't know which program is best out there.

GLEIM is good in the way that it gives you the explanation of why the answer is wrong, and what you should do to get the correct answer, looking for something like that, also with the largest question database possible to closely mirror the JAA database.

Anyone have any opinions?

Any reason why?
The thing I see about Bristol GS is that you have to be online the entire time, and you pay for a certain time frame.

I've been looking at the software from dauntless, which you can run in offline mode, and is yours for life.

Any advantages to bristol over this software?

Keith Williams also does a CD of exam questions, with explanations.

Ok, last question then, has anyone actually tried the software from Dauntless?

Only reason why I like it the best over the ones I've looked through is that I can use it offline, meaning I can use it where I don't have an internet connection

i dont have experience with either product but maybe worth looking into the Jeppesen ATPL prep CD and the Oxford ATPL questions CD, i know the latter does not provide explanations on incorrect answers but the former i think does.

As far as I'm concerned, Bristol GS helped out so much I would have paid triple the amount it cost.

(I've never used CD's so I'm sure the ones recommended here are just as good as they say they are).

I don't think any of my class got below a 90% average on the whole set of (15 I think) of exams.

does anyone have any experience with Dauntless?

I'm thinking of at this point, to buy Keith's cd to help understanding, and one of the big databases to help with more questions (+ the 14 books of course).

Can't really find any ups or downs with bristol or dauntless to be honest.
I'm taking the ATPL exams in Norway, and what I would like the most, is a feature where I could make a session with only questions I have answered incorrectly
