Flight Instrucor Examiners

Dear All,

I need to locate an examiner who can carry out a

Flight Instructor (A) revalidation skills test.

I am based in the the East Midlands but I am willing to travel. I need to revalidate within the next month.

I have heard that some of these guys can test you up to six hours on licensing and standards questions........ so if someone knows a fair examiner who will not make me jump through too many hoops it would appreciated.

I have contacted the CAA who are sending me the offical list and contact details of all the FI exmainers, but this may take weeks. If anyone has this list to hand could they please contact me. Or if anyone knows the name of anyone they could recommend I would appreciate it.

Regards,

BA

Try John Pugh at Leicestershire Aero Club, I know they do the FI course so im sure they can do a revalidation.

Find them here:

To be fair I think that the CAA should set a standard set of questions which all FI should answer on revalidation.

It would be quite easy to make up just look at pprune and get the standard questions off that.

Then we might just see the end of instructors telling PPL's they can log club checkrides as PICUS.

You could try Pat Plunkett at Wellesbourne, through On-Track. Lovely guy...

Also Craig Padfield at The Flight Centre at Halfpenny Green : Private Pilot Training PPL : Commercial Pilot should be getting his FIE ticket as soon as weather and a CAAFU examiner coincide.
