ME Flight Test validity

Dear all

To cut a long story short, I have been doing my IR/ME of late, failed first bash at IR through a couple of stupid mistakes but am looking to retake in a couple of months. I know the 170A is valid for 6 months but regards the ME test (which I took about 2 months back now) what is the time limit for passing the flight test and having to get license issued? I'm guessing there must be a limit after which you have to retake the test to get licence issued.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Mark.

Class rating being added to existing licence - last I heard from UK CAA was six months from date of passing flight test.

Yep, 6 months.

I have recently applied for licence issue. The CAA spotted an omission from my logbook and wrote to me asking for further details. They told me to re-submit before the expiry of 6 months from the date of my MEP skills test.
