MCC and the CAA

Hi,

I've run a quick search for this but couldn't find any info, apologies if it's already been covered.

On completion of the MCC, I understand I will receive a course completion certificate, and this is required prior to starting a type rating course.

After the MCC (but before the TR) do you have to send the MCC course completion certificate to the CAA for endorsement onto your license? Or do you just hold onto it until you want to put a TR onto your license and submit it then?

Cheers

In short No, just hang onto it, you will need it for job applications

Correct - you only need to submit a copy of the MCC cert with the application for a type rating. Therefore any employer would want a copy of your MCC cert as soon as you joined.

Great, thanks for your responses.

It's quite mad really, I did an MCC course.

Not long started with a company as DE FO and soon to commence TR course and having to do both and MCC course and CRM course with them.
