Integrated flight schools struggling ?

Hi

Is there any downturn in students looking to start integrated courses from ground school and onwards ? or are they still full

Cheers

Very much doubt it. Remember they don't sell a product, they sell a dream. That, coupled with very good marketing, and countless people on here droaning on about how it's the only way to become a pilot, leads me to believe that there will be little impact on course uptake.

Courses are full. There are no customer shortages.

The larger modular schools also seem to be doing robust business. An IR course is difficult to book anytime before late Nov. The market for flying instructors remains fairly strong in the commercial market. The PPL market is turning down sharply though.

Very interesting responses here. However I think the question should be:

How many people are getting sucked into integrated courses at the moment even though the integrated schools are struggling with career development for their students??

Poor people.

I think time will tell. The historic marker is when integrated schools suddenly develop an unusual interest in modular business.
