PPRuNe Forums - fonawah: where is he now?

During a sleepless night a week or so back I was flicking through the 'Read this before posting' thread on 'Am I really too old'...........

I came across aposting by someone calling himself fonawah in 2002 who wanted to give up his job as a hospital doctor against his wife's wishes and get a job as an airline pilot.

I followed his agonising on PPRuNe : he seemed to take IIRC about 3 years to get his PPL and the last post I rememberwas circa 2004 when he was 4 hours into his IMC and having second thoughts..........

fonawah: what happened to you : did you make it to the RHS/LHS?

Anybody out there know what happened: I really felt for the guy's agonising and would really hope he fulfilled his dream.

Oh and before you ask I really am too old but in my yoof did have thoughts just like his: but I kept 'em just dreams..............
