cabin pressure
 
afternoon
can anyone explain about cabin pressure. for example, when does the cabin presurise, how long does it take etc.

I can only state what I fly in, but it starts pressurization as soon as the main door is locked and the engines are running. As for the how long it takes, depends on the cabin pressure set, altitude you climb to and more importantly the pressurization rate.. normally around 500fpm upto a cabin pressure of 6,000 ft.
