Raven Air Liverpool, have things improved?

Hi all, am currently trying to decide where to do my CPL/IR training. Ravenair would be great for me as it is very local however I have read and heard a few bad things about them, both here and elsewhere. I heard for example that they don't even have a simulator for the IR training.

Is there anybody there at the moment who is dong their CPL/IR with them?
Can anybody comment as to their current state of affairs?

I think they share a sim with one of the uni's they have links to. Not sure if they have an IR instructor at present, best give them a call and ask.
