GFPT training: Stay local or travel?
 

Hello,
I have recently started browsing various flying school's web sites, as I would like to do my GFPT in the near future. I live in Geelong, Vic. I am unsure If I should go to a local school in the Geelong area, or go up the highway to the likes of Moorabbin or Essendon. Travelling will be difficult as I do not have a drivers license, all though accommodation could be arranged I guess. The reason why I am unsure about the local schools is I have not heard alot about them. I am looking for good training that is reasonably priced. I would do the course full-time over the school holidays. I have a few questions for pprune'ers.

What advice do you have on the local schools?
What school do you recommend in Melbourne? (reasonably priced + good training)
As well as other feedback would be fantastic.
