I need some advice on: --- I am 29+married (male), some people say im too old to become a pilot, is that true? --- Airlines only take guys who are like 21's-23's in thier cadet pilot program so no point applyin now to them, is that true? Hope i get some answers !! |
I am 29 (nearly 30) married and I got onto the NetJets cadet scheme - so age is not an issue with this scheme.

This is only about 5 posts down from where you made a new thread?

Worry not. I know a few people who have landed their first commercial airline jobs on passenger jets, in their early 40s, with very decent salaries.
Where they are, you might be considered a little too young! |
airapurva,
You should try contacting your local and regional airlines to see what they're recruiting policy is. What happens in India may be completely different to Europe. Before spending any money, find out if you're likely to be invited to an interview at your expected finishing age and whether or not you can pass the medical. |
There's also some really useful stuff in this thread:
