JAA ATPL Theory validity

Me and the search function are not getting on very well today.:\ A question somebody may be able to answer off the bat - or perhaps someone could point me in the right direction.

What is the maximum amount of time the ATPL exams stay valid for after you've sat them and before you undertake CPL training?

Three years. However, you also need to get an IR in that time as well, not just CPL.

If you don't already have it, you can download LASORS for free from the CAA website and all those sorts of answers are there.

Cheers

Does that mean your ATPL therory will stay valid for ever, if you keep your IR current?

The 7 years start again with each IR renerwal.
