Extra Requirement????

I´ve just finish all my training, i did an FAA CPL/IR and after that all 14 Exams in UK CAA and did an aproved conversion course in Portugal, after doing everything the portuguese CAA told me that i need to do an Math or/and Phisics exam, i never heard about this before anyhere, can they request this? If they already accepted the ATPL exams why do they request this? Because the only time that they could request Math or Phisics is when you apply to an ATPL course. My school degree doesnt have any Math or Phisics and they say that´s why.
Where can i find information information about this extra requirement?
