JAR CPL to SA CPL
 

Hi,

I have a JAR CPL, ME-IR, 500 hrsTT and I would like to obtain a South-African CPL ME-IR.
Could somebody give me more information what I have to do in order to qualify and obtain a South-African CPL licence.
Could you also make a suggestion regarding flight schools in South-Africa.

I did part of my PPL at Virginia Flight School, Durban in December last year and they were really good. I also spoke to a guy called Greg last week about doing a similar conversion albeit I havent got my JAR CPL yet and they were very helpful. The info they gave me was more for converting my JAR PPL to gain a SA CPL and then coming back this way (UK) so I'm not sure what they'll suggest byt they're really helpful.
