How much for CPL/IR and MCC Blue Book?

I have a PPL with night ratin, multi engine rating and single engine rating.

Hi Jinkster. You're probably looking at about 20 large:

Writtens: £2k appx distance learning

CPL: I've just spent about £5.5k all-in, (meaning including the CAA test fee and AC hire that's not normally included in most quotes).

IR: I am about to spend £9k (25hrs sim, 25hrs Duchess) plus the usual hiddens of about £1k approach fees, £1.2k test fee + test hire. You've got a few options here depending on the mix of sim hrs/singles or multis).

MCC: Seem to vary between £2-4k depending on what sort of sim you want (jet, t-prop etc).

Obviously any retraining or retest fees could add on £££ lots. Hope this helps.

sorry....wrong end of the stick.

I've just finished my CPL/IR and mcc starts in April. Just wondered how much it was to upgrade to the blue book from my brown one!

cheers :)

S'orl right. Doesn't do me any harm to remind myself precisely how much this labour of love/fools errand (depending on my mood) is costing me.
