Another Flight Planning question

Turbo-jet aircraft.

Taxy fuel 600 kg
Fuel flow cruise 10000 kg/hr
Fuel flow hold 8000 kg/hr
Alternate fuel 10200 kg/hr
Flight time 6 hours
Visibility at destination 2000m

What is the minimum ramp fuel?

a) 80500
b) 79200
c) 77800
d) 76100

answer given is c)

I would have thought : 60000 kg for trip fuel,
4000 kg for 30 mins hold
600 kg for taxy
1800 kg for contingency (3% of trip fuel)
10200 kg alternate
---------------
76600 kg

Any ideas?

3000 kg contingency. 5% of trip fuel, as there is no mention of in-flight replanning. Always use 5% contingency unless some other is hinted at in the question.

Thought it might be that, just wondered what the standard percentage was - it was 3% in one of the questions in my course notes, so I used that.
