Professional Studies Loans

- Do they still exist?
- HSBC favours aviation wannabe's as a profession/ career
- Anybody have first hand experience of this scheme, how much borrowed etc?

Yes I know convincing them you could do it will be hard, convincing them there are jobs to obtain even harder.

PS- CDL, done it, lost it, still paying it back (lost it= FTO went bust, sent CDL @ £7500 balance to inland revenue, a real lift to my career i dont think:{ )

I went to HSBC with a business plan and they said yes! And i'm on my way now having just finished my ATPLs! And they gave me enought to cover everything

My advice would be to be v. professional and make sure that you really come across as totally committed!

However, I have searched and found BlueSkyRicks thread on this topic, his accounts and that of others give a flavour to it that have answered all my questions.
