AerialAg

hi,

Just wondering does anyone have information regarding Aerial Agriculture. More importantly I would like to know whether it is a good place to start to build hours up towards the airline after a commercial license is attained. Or is it a separate career direction that people strive for. I hope you sorta know what i'm asking

Ag Flying

Greetings,

Ag aviation is a big business in our area of the world. We train many pilots for such.

It is not a good way to build time. The average ag pilot in this area (Manitoba, Canada) would fly maybe 200 hours in a season.

A must is taildragger time, and a farm background is a big bonus. Many ag pilots are career ag pilots.
