FAA CFI conversion to JAA...how is this done?

G'day!

I hold an FAA CFI and having completed my JAA fATPL i'd like to convert my CFI over as well. But how is this done? What are the hour requirements/costs involved in this?
I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer...i just cant seem to get a definitive answer from the CAA....

Cheers all!

I do not think the JAA can grant you some hours.I would not be surprised if you have to do the full course (30h flight)even if you have 10000 h as a CFI.

why don' t you stay in the USA and work as a FI?

Blue Bug,

Go to my website : www.passion2fly.com and then to "JAA Conversions". At the end of the page you will see the FAA CFI conversion requirements. You only need to do 15 hours of flight and 30 hours of ground ...
