Direct Entry RAF at school

I'm 17 and currently in my final year at school, I am interested in attending the Cranwell Selection as soon as I can but I'd like to know what time of year they accept applications from Upper Sixth formers and whether it is acceptable to apply before achieving actual A Levels?
I'd appreciate some replies
