JAA training in the US

Hi!

What are some of the schools that offer JAA certificates in the US? I know of Comair, are there any other? Thanks!

This has been discussed lots in the past Milad. Do a Wannabes search on 'Comair', there's a fair amount of info on the various flightschool options.

All of the schools approved by the UK CAA can be found HERE . AFAIK no other JAA country approves (of) FTOs outside the JAA.

ok

How come Comair is JAA approved but yet they are not on the CAA list. Naples is but I can't find Comair???

Comair is not on the list because it is not approved for JAA training in its own right. The approval is held by Atlantic Flight Training in Coventry, UK. Comair is just a sub-contractor and provides the training under AFT's supervision.

When I was flying in SA last year FTC of Africa had the JAA approval via Atlantic. Why they lost out to Comair I don't know.
But you will be flying under Atlantic flight training's JAA approval regardless......
