up dates for F/O recruitments

Hi guys

I am looking for the update news about the recruitment for pilots, which is going on with varoius operators just now. If anyone knows more about BAC Exp, BA Citti Exp, BMI Regional, Fly be, Air Scotland and Aurigny. Please Help the others.

Have a Nice X'mas and Happy New Year :) :)

Hi Syed,

BAC Express are currently fully crewed but there is a possibility of a job with them in the new year, the catch, however, is that they are charging for the type training on either the F27 or the Shed. I better not give my opinion on this matter again as I've already been shot down in flames on another thread for voicing an experienced argument about the pros & cons of this. BA CitiExpress have completed all of their recruiting until the New Year, but see other threads about what is happening to this airline & make up your own mind! Flybe is not looking for further recruitment at this moment in time but there is a possibility in the New Year of some F/O jobs.

Hope this is of some help

Potter I take it you're referring to my reply to your post on the Self Sponsored Type Ratings thread? Go back and read my post again - at no point did I comment on your opinion on the topic at hand one way or the other. That's primarily because the thread originator had asked us not to go down that line. He sounded intelligent enough to make his own mind up and had researched the dozens of threads that cover this issue.

I took you to task because of your insinuations that I am somehow influenced by certain companies and your insulting characterisation of Astraeus' incident at Cardiff last weekend. You are at liberty to expound your opinions on type ratings to your heart's content, as long as it's relevant to the thread and free of emotional vitriol.

Syed All the outfits you list are keeping quiet at the moment. I suspect that most would like to consider recruiting in the nearish future, but will hold fire until it becomes clear what will happen in the Gulf, and what the economic fallout will be.

Scroggs I was not refering to your reply on Worzels thread about self-funded type ratings. I was, in fact, making reference to Bangher's reply further on when, refering to me, he says, "I can't believe anyone lets him near an aircraft...I would say he is unstable." This is a very nasty response to a fellow pilot who has just witnessed the demise of an airline, where some of the crew had paid for their own type ratings, & are now faced with joblessness yet again & thousands of pounds of further debt.

I personally apologise to you for any insinuation that you were involved with the Astaeus project: I was actually refering to Pprune being the main point of reference for new F/Os willing to part fund their own 737 ratings when Astraeus was set up.

Syed I'm sure that you are now aware of the situation at BACX but it might be worth your while sending a cv into Eastern. Good luck with it.
:) :) :)

Potter Ah - OK. I hadn't seen that one. As you suggest, that kind of reply is not acceptable. I shall be having words....
