how much do pilots get paid?
 
i am an aspiring airline pilot
i wondered how much i can expect to earn in my first year in the job?
Please can you help

Well that all depends on, who you work for what you fly and what experience you have! I started on a turbo prop earning less than £20,000 sterling. Two years later, I am on a jet and in a few months (you get paid more with experience) I will have nearly doubled what I was getting two years ago! As I said though It all depends on where and what you fly etc.......

Pete.
I have a bit to go yet, wont make it before the end of the summer season though! :( Quiet winter at GLA wont help either. Oh well, put that Aston Martin on hold for another year. :D ;D :D
Hopefully I have done my bit in MAN now, and can stay up north next summer! Fingers crossed!!!!!! :p
