Keith Williams, Any Good?
 

Im thinking of buying some books produded by Kieth Williams for ATPL studies but have never seen any of his work, anyone pass any comments please.

Keith taught me all I know and a lot of what I've forgotten in PoF. I passed the stuff first time. What more can I say!?

I take it these are JAA and not the old CAA. Just from the comment about him teaching you everything you know :)

I have read his POF book and its really very good. Very good explanations and examples, easy to read and logical.

Impressed, you could do a lot worse.

Very, very good books.

Well structured folders, divided into the different topics, with formulae and key facts at the beginning.
Based on feedback questions from a range of schools... but the real point of getting his material is for the explanations.

Currently he has a folder with 1000 questions for each of the following:
Principles of Flight
Performance
Instruments
(I think that's all of them, but he brings out a new one every now and then)

I have all 3.

Would definately recommend.

Keith was one of my lecturers at ppsc last year and I passed his subjects first time.

His books are extremely good, I found that I definitely had the edge over many others due to studying his pof book for hours on end.

Get them all, he's a very clever chap you know..

All his folders are 1000 Q+A, although from these he has put together folders with 20 practice papers, but the questions are from the 1000 Q+A folders.

He also does a one week consolidation course for up to 4 people at a time in PoF. He can also help out in Instruments, Perf and Electrics.
The cost is very, very, very reasonable!

Keith is an absolutely A1 First class instructor who got me through my JAR ATPL ground school studies in 2000/01. He has an excellent way of putting his point across and his question bank is bang on (I should know cos I contributed to it somewhere along the line I expect). I mst admit to not knowing he had written any books but if they are even 10% as good as his teaching in the classroom then you're on a winner!!

Hi Hufty,

Keith has sent me so sample papers of his work, and so far they look pretty good. also spoke to other instructors and none have had a bad word about his work.

Just be careful there are people out that just want your money and are producing some real s--t.

Excellent books - you will not regret buying them. Definitely some of the best money I have spent on my training so far (Slight 'gambler effect' view there, but just think about the money spent on landing fees, medicals and all the rest).

To narrowly fail any subject will be an expensive and wearing experience. I look at any 'extra' study aids as a valuable addition to my library, and a wee extra peace of mind.
